China–ASEAN Expo Agriculture Exhibition Area Draws Strong Interest from Chinese and International Officials

24 September 2026, Beijing: The 23rd China–ASEAN Expo opened in Nanning, Guangxi, on September 17. The Agriculture Exhibition Area, organized by the Foreign Economic Cooperation Center, attracted considerable attention from both China and abroad. On the opening day of the Expo, Maierdan Mugaiti, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Huang Rusheng, Vice Chairman and Member of the Party Leadership Group of the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, visited exhibiting delegations from Guangxi, Jilin, Hubei, and Jiangxi, among others. They expressed approval of the agricultural smart equipment, seeds, specialty agricultural products and other items on display. Ministerial-level delegations from ASEAN countries, including Cambodia, Vietnam, and the Philippines, also visited the Agriculture Exhibition Area and engaged in in-depth exchanges with Chinese exhibitors. CCTV’s Agriculture and Rural Affairs Channel featured the Agriculture Exhibition Area in a special report.
