World Food Safety Day / Mexican Food Company Celebrates With Staff
19 July 2026, Mexico: The Mexican company DK Foods, which manufactures marinades, condiments, seasonings, and specialty premixes, celebrated World Food Safety Day over an entire week. Activities included interactive sessions based on topics such as the company’s Quality and Food Safety Policy, HACCP, good manufacturing practices, process controls, traceability, food defence and food fraud, cleaning and disinfection, cross-contamination risks, chemical control, etc. The goal was to reinforce knowledge among both administrative and operational staff.
This year, the programme of activities included the following:
- “Diligent Culture” talk for raw material suppliers and internal employees.
- Food Safety Bingo (Lotería).
- Kahoot interactive session.
- Word scramble and sentence completion game.
- GMP Bingo (Lotería).
- Reaffirming commitment to food safety (a poster featuring employees’ handprints).
(Winners of each activity receive small prizes/souvenirs.)
The week concluded with a closing talk and a group photo of all employees.
