World Food Safety Day / Awareness Activities In Egypt Highlight Shared Responsibility For Food Safety

17 June 2026, US: To mark World Food Safety Day 2026, the Egyptian company First Class Catering, organized a series of awareness and engagement activities aimed at strengthening food safety culture and reinforcing the message that food safety is a shared responsibility.

Awareness events were held in collaboration with partner organizations, bringing together employees to learn about good food safety practices through interactive presentations and educational materials. Internally, staff participated in training sessions and interactive assessments designed to reinforce food safety knowledge and encourage active engagement.

As part of the celebrations, employees from different roles and departments took part in an awareness video, sharing how their daily work contributes to safe food and supports this year’s World Food Safety Day theme, “From burden to solutions: safe food everywhere.”

Through these activities, participants highlighted the importance of awareness, education and collective action in promoting a strong food safety culture.
