Escorts Kubota Limited Launches Three New Tractor Models Under Digitrac Series in India
New Digitrac range now spans five models in the 45–55 HP segment, including a 4WD option
22 April 2026, Lucknow: Escorts Kubota Limited has expanded its Digitrac lineup under the Powertrac portfolio with the launch of three new tractor models, transforming the range into a full-fledged series aimed at modern farming and heavy haulage applications.
With the latest introduction, the Digitrac portfolio grows from two existing models to a five-model series covering the 45–55 HP category. The launch includes the new Digitrac PP 46i 4WD, Digitrac PP 43i Plus, and Digitrac PP 41i, and will be rolled out across India.
Strengthening Multi-Brand Tractor Portfolio
Escorts Kubota currently operates three tractor brands in India — Kubota, Farmtrac, and Powertrac serving premium, entry-premium, and value-focused segments. The Digitrac range is positioned within the Powertrac brand and represents the company’s fourth major tractor launch since February 2025.
Recent launches include the Farmtrac Promaxx series, Kubota MU4201, and the Powertrac Shaurya Paddy Series, reflecting the company’s aggressive product expansion strategy in the Indian tractor market.
Designed for New-Age Farmers
The existing Digitrac PP 46i and PP 43i models have been among the key contributors to Powertrac’s sales in India, driven by their bold styling, premium aesthetics, and appeal among younger, aspirational farmers.
The complete Digitrac series now comes equipped with several advanced features, including:
- Bigger CC engines
- Bigger tyres
- Side-shift gear system
- 12 forward + 3 reverse constant mesh gearbox
- Independent PTO (iPTO)
- 2,000 kg hydraulic lift capacity
The tractors are also compatible with advanced farm implements such as Super Seeder, Reaper, Reversible MB Plough, and Laser Leveller, enabling use across multiple stages of farm operations.
High-Speed Performance in the Segment
According to the company, the Digitrac PP 43i Plus offers a top speed of 39.9 km/h, positioning it among the faster tractors in its category. Escorts Kubota said such features were traditionally available only in higher horsepower segments, but are now being introduced in the 45–55 HP range.
Leadership Commentary
Nikhil Nanda, Chairman and Managing Director, said the company’s consistent launch pipeline reflects its focus on strengthening the portfolio and improving its market position in India.
Akira Kato, Deputy Managing Director said Digitrac has built a strong identity with progressive farmers, and expanding it into a full series creates a significant growth opportunity for the Powertrac business.
Neeraj Mehra, Chief Officer, Tractor Business Division added that the expanded range brings premium technology, performance, and value to farmers in the 45–55 HP segment, making advanced tractor capabilities more accessible.
Availability
The new Digitrac tractor series is now available through authorised Powertrac dealerships across India.
