Fendt 1000 Vario — Up to 517 hp with the FendtONE Operating Platform

01 August 2026, Germany: The Fendt 1000 Vario is Fendt’s high-performance standard tractor built around one idea: horsepower and data-power belong together. It was the flagship series before the Gen4 update and remains a proven, award-winning workhorse for large arable operations.

Model range: 1038, 1042, 1046 and 1050 Vario, delivering 396 to 517 hp (rated power, ECE R120).

FendtONE: The Fendt 1000 Vario introduced the unified FendtONE driver’s workplace — up to three displays (10″ dashboard, 12″ armrest terminal, 12″ roof terminal), a 3L-joystick with reverse button, and colour-coded function groups. FendtONE offboard extends the same interface to office-based planning, job management and fleet documentation.

Key highlights:

  • Intelligent VarioDrive: independent front/rear axle drive, no manual 4WD engagement, smallest-possible turning circle via the pull-in turn effect
  • Integrated VarioGrip tyre-pressure regulation system with protected on-board air-line routing
  • Two hydraulic pumps delivering up to 430 l/min combined flow
  • Fendt iD low-speed concept for high torque at low rpm and reduced fuel burn
  • Fendt Stability Control, bonnet camera, self-cleaning air filter
  • Reverse drive control (180° pneumatically assisted cab rotation)
  • Smart Farming modules: guidance, agronomy, telemetry and machine control, extendable with Fendt Section Control and Variable Rate Control (up to 144 sections/zones)

A genuine powerhouse for large-scale tillage, seeding and transport work, the Fendt 1000 Vario proved that big horsepower and digital farm management could run through a single, intuitive interface.
